Surprisingly Uncomplicated

✔ We will help identify the documents you need to gather.
✔ We will provide a draft of the plan as well as a summary of the first draft to help explain the documents
✔ We can set up a signing meeting at your home or an office near your home.
Jump Start Meeting
We will ask you about your concerns and answer your questions. Then let you ask more questions. The idea of the Session is to hear you out and see if we can help address and solve your concerns. We will then review our process, our flat fees. We want you to know exactly what you are getting and what the investment will be.
What are the initial steps to get started?
When you are ready to move forward we will send you an engagement letter via DocuSign and an invoice via LawPay our secure online payment provider. Afterward, we can set up a Design Meeting and move forward.
How long does it take to complete the process?
Our process is designed to have your estate planning documents signed within 6-8 weeks of your Peace of Mind Planning Session. It depends in part on your schedule and how long it takes for you to review your draft documents.
What kind of information do you need from me?
- We need information regarding your assets (house, 401(k) other retirement plans, life insurance, etc.), their value, and how they are titled (jointly, individually, etc.)
We also need to answer some foundational questions:
- Who you would want raising your minor children if something happened to you and your spouse or partner
- Who you want to manage your children’s money until they are old enough to do it themselves
- Who do you want making medical and financial decisions for you in the event of your incapacity
Don’t worry if you don’t have the answers to these questions right away! You’ll have plenty of time to think things over throughout the process.
